The vision of our ministry
has a networking and serving foundation at its core; Serving
Big Family Ministry by helping the Russians Reaching
Russians church plants to implement youth ministry
leadership,
gathering
resources, connecting youth ministries with each other and
creating service projects with the Big Family orphanages to
share the love of God with Russian children.
6 million
people live in St. Petersburg, Russia, where thousands of
children are orphaned to the streets. 9 out of 10 of these
orphaned children face a future of drug addiction,
alcoholism, prostitution, prison or suicide.
God has created an
opportunity to partner with Big Family Ministry. This
ministry is led by Ken and Dianne Dockery and is a light in
Russian teens’ lives. We are excited about this partnership
and are looking forward to what God does through this
connection.
A
chance to be a part of bringing hope to Russian
orphans is something that we are thrilled about. We would
like to see the scripture lived out when it says in
James 1:27 “Religion
that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to
keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
God has been “birthing”
this vision in our hearts over the past few years. Youth
ministry is on the ground floor and we are honored to be
part of a great revival of youth in Russia. The great part
of this is the fact that we will be leading by serving.
God
has not called us to lead a revival. God has called us to be
a catalyst that will ignite and mobilize leadership to lead
a revival. We are excited about this thought.
“Let
your light shine before men, that they may see your good
deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
