 WHO: The Orndorff
Family…Larry, Jennifer, Ian, Evelyn. We are from Springfield Ohio where we have made our base of ministry at Word of
Faith Family Church. God has given us incredible ministry
opportunities while being in charge of the youth ministry.
Over several short term trips to Russia a connection and a
burden began to fill our hearts. We have felt the calling to
shift our ministry overseas. God has again given us an
amazing opportunity to serve him. We are excited about a new
chapter in our lives…the mission field.
Ian:
"The thought of traveling and living in a country that's
halfway around the world is a really cool thought. I'm also
looking forward to seeing all of the neat buildings in
Russia."
Eve:
"I want to fly on a plane for the first time in my life. I
can't wait to meet new friends and learn how to speak
Russian."
WHAT: Serving,
equipping and empowering Youth Ministry leadership to
fulfill the "Great Commission" to be the "Salt and Light" of
the Earth and pour out the Love of God to orphans.
WHERE: St. Petersburg
Russia is the second largest city in Russia with a
population of over 6 million people. Founded by Tsar Peter
the Great in 1703 it was the capital of the Russian Empire
for more than 200 years. St. Petersburg is a major European
cultural center and important Russian port on the Baltic
Sea.
 WHEN: Departing for
Russia mid July, 2008
WHY:
"Then I
heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And
who will go for us?' And we said, "Here we are. Send us!"
Isaiah 6:8
Because we would follow the Lord to the ends of the Earth
and back again if that's what He asked…
